FlatJet Digital Billboard-printing Technology

With the introduction of a completely new printing method the contradiction between demand and possibilities has successfully been solved. The FlatJet technology has been developed uniting all the advantages which excited the printing and advertising industries when digital printing appeared.

This is particularly important because the production of billboards has required disproportionately large financial sacrifices. Technical difficulties were caused because a relatively large quantity of ink has to be transmitted onto the paper in less than 1/1000 second in order to reach the necessary pixeldensity as well as printing speed even if these droplets are as large as 4 mm.

The FlatJet printing unit makes the transmission of ink possible in a very short time. Because of its flat shape, a block can be build containing hundreds of such printing heads.

The FlatJet heads can be placed close to each other, which makes simultaneous parallel printing come true.
